About Instinct Chat
Instinct Chat is the chat community from Instinct Magazine: live rooms and conversations for gay, bi, and queer men, made by people who have been covering this community for years.
Why we built it
So much of meeting other guys online has turned into swiping on photos. We wanted a place where the conversation comes first: a room full of people talking, where you can drop in, say something, and actually get to know someone.
What you'll find here
Themed chat rooms for communities, interests, and cities, from Bears and Over 40 to Fitness, Nightlife, New York, and Berlin. Random one on one chat by text or voice when you want something quieter, and parties: small group chats you start yourself and share with a link.
A profile is optional. Members can add a display name, a few details, and a photo, and every photo is checked before anyone can see it. There is no camera anywhere on Instinct Chat.
Safe, adult, and real
Everyone here is 18 or older. Members confirm their birthday, messages are screened before they are delivered, and anything involving minors is blocked, banned, and reported. We support free speech, and we draw the line at threats, slurs, and hate. Read the Community Guidelines and the safety guide for the details.
